Reva (aka Mom)

My mom inspired me with her “can do” attitude – from being one of the first female electricians at the local steel mill, to growing and raising our own food, and being deeply involved in church. It was a pleasure and emotional journey to try to capture her sense of a life well-lived. Measuring 28″ by 38″, mom is seated with the family farm in the background. The pothos plant on the left includes a symbol of motherly love in the heart-shaped leaves.
